The hot plate works and keeps my coffee hot, but the paint on the actual hot plate chipped the very first time I ever used it

Ok warmer, paint on plate peels when warm, used steal wool to take all the paint off and look better

After first use, the painted hot plate is chipped

Doesn’t keep hot enough and black paint comes off

The paint on the plate is already scratched and starting to come

I would still buy this again, but do consider this a design flaw, either keep the plate unpainted or use a tougher paint.

Super simple, on off feature, first time use there was a strange smell not sure where from maybe from ceramic cup being heated bottom up, I do agree with previous reviewer to cover up the cup while using heater , smell now no longer an issue, cup warm, such a good addition next to my spot on the sofa, no longer have to keep getting up to reheat my coffee/tea at the microwave, been using it so much paint peeling, not a problem still works great

This warmer is still working great; however, within about three months of very light use, the paint started chipping off the hot plate.
