We've moved on to a rear-facing convertible car seat, and after checking under this protective cover and the towel I placed under it, the indentations on my seat are gone, leaving me to believe that if you see indentations like I have and other reviews have stated, that they are only temporary, as the leather can regain it's appropriate shape
