The strap is adjustable and can be cranked to make it as tight as possible, to prevent the seat from moving while you are rolling.

The straps are pretty versatile enough to fit a variety of car seat brands (We have both Safety 1st and Britax)

Also, the strap to attach the car seat is kind of tricky, so I struggled a few times getting it on and off.
