The padding is a bit thin, inasmuch as I'm carrying an expensive keyboard and want excellent protection, but overall this is a good buy.

On another site, the shoulder strap was criticized as not being able to carry the weight the bag would hold, and we didn't even attempt that.

The only downside I have experienced with this bag are the D rings securing the shoulder strap.
