This things works and sounds just fine but beware it does not come with a charging cable - you need to either use 9V batteries or buy a charging cable separately, which was disappointing.
-
I've heard nothing but good things about it and so far I'm about 50/50 on liking it.
-
This can be a good or bad thing, but I realized I'm after clean and longer repeats, and I also want the repeats in
-
The previous delay problems are gone and this thing is a serious monster!
-
The cool thing about this pedal is it sounds great playing at gig volume ; not just in the bedroom
-
This thing is built like a tank
-
Not only does this thing sound warm and fuzzy and thick, you've got some really awesome analog sounds you can manipulate when turning the knobs while playing
-
The only "negative" thing I can say about the pedal is that I don't understand (or care for) the power input being on the right side of the pedal very close to the input jack.
-
This is not a "do everything" pedal, however, and basically it does one thing well: provide a vintage style analog delay sound of very nice quality

I read nothing but good things about the Malekko Ekko and tossed back and forth between that and the Carbon Copy for a while and ultimately went with the Carbon Copy because I was able to find the most first-hand reviews of it
-
The most impressive thing about this pedal is still... the tone.
-
Sure, I know it would ruin the simplicity of the pedal, but when I'm standing up playing guitar the last thing I want to do is lean down and try to adjust the delay speed to match the tempo of the music
-
That being said, here are a few things worth considering before buying this delay
-
But, my combined love of all other MXR pedals (they really do things right most of the time) and having seen so many positive reviews on this pedal, I decided to grab this
