It is a good quality fabric with sturdy hooks and zipper

XL and it does fit, basically had to hook the top hook then the bottom and work my way up to hooking them all

The hooks are adjustable(3-rows to choose from, for the best fit for you) and so are the shoulder straps

If I had gone with the 1X I'd most likely have the hooks on the mid-loose end of the spectrum but still satisfied with my purchase.

I will say the hooks are very strong and the optional vest style makes me feel like my back is smooth but 2more inches would have made this a winner

I am pleasantly surprised by this waist trainer/shapewear, the material is soft and supple, the zipper is strong and easy to pull on, and the hooks are strong
