As I said above if this projector has a better User Interface and App selection (like Roku) it would be absolutely amazing.

Mobile app remote is great

The remote doesn't work well, the app is better for control on Android

Otherwise the apps will be limited.

I also have Amazon Fire tablets but the app is not even available for them

The interface is nice, however, the youtube app is junk

Device is overall metal, but unprotected lens glass requires very careful handling.- Still expecting Google Services to be available, as having limited app store and inability to login is a significant inconvenience

The iOS app which accompanies the device is great

Small, good battery life, good app, and good picture quality

The app is super helpful for the controlling of the functions for the Nebula and it does connect to wifi and has many apps avail to watch shows and play games.was torn on sending back but decided to keep it for personal use when a hotel room TV is just to small to watch movies on.

While Hulu warns you that the app isn't compatible, it works well on the Capsule in my experience

Internal apps also need work, and we need Google Play Services stat.

Then Airplay does not work for popular apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO GO because of an issue with streaming copyright content.

I did find that Spotify was an available app

The device runs Android 7.1.2, and if you know how to side-load APKs, you can install apps like Google Chrome, RetroArch, and Kodi

Some of the apps I downloaded via my little trick are finicky and don't work sometimes, but sling tv and YouTube Tv work pretty well as well as obviously the native apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc.

The story was pretty much the same for all other apps I tried - they are either unavailable in the limited app store provided by the Nebula, they are available but won't install, or they install but don't work

The app probably mitigates that issue, except that already twice I’ve encountered some interface struggles that I could only resolve using the back button on the remote (not in the app).

The smart phone control app is good when it works

Without Google Play Services support any app that requires a google login will not work

The remote app that I can project my iPad or phone to it is phenomenal and the brightness of the projector is good

Additionally, the "app store" is loaded up with useless, third-rate garbage apps

You can get around this via the pretty great phone app

I'll address some of the "pitfalls" that others have mentioned in their initial reviews first and then will tell you how much I like this device.- Limited App store: I found this to be the case at first, but with help from an awesome Nebula representative named Ashley, there's a very simple workaround and YOU CAN DOWNLOAD MOST APPS.

The native apps within the Capsule work well but also have limited functionality; Amazon Prime only worked view browser.

Haven't fully tested their app from play store but so far no issues

The remote app is very helpful although as for IOS Apple devices I can not seem to mirror or stream directly from my phone, clearly a Android platform not playing nice with Apple

What I got is the original version - still Micro-USBHad so much difficulty downloading the update as well as the apps

Great item but the Youtube app should let you sign into your account and the bluetooth has a bit of delay to a bluetooth speaker when using a hdmi external source

The lack of Google Play Services does not allow you to run certain apps like NBC, NBC Sports and FoxNow.

The two apps I tested which support downloads on other mobile devices also support downloads here (Netflix and Amazon)

Updated:The situation changes dramatically as soon as get update to the beta version of firmware and now can install near-arbitrary app from Google Play

Unfortunately, for as great as the projector is - the audio is pretty bad

Doesn’t project as vivid as it could but makes up for it in the sound quality
