It's super in a dark room

It isn't super bright, but most of the time the room is dark enough that it works out.

You must be in a dark room as the brightness is not adjustable, it is very portable and easy to connect once you find the sweet spot for the remote to work

The GoodBuild qualityPortabilityKeystoning is a breeze and the focus is greatBrightness if you don't need 100 inches or more and you are in a dark room, for me this unit is fine for the netflix ceiling projector binge watching

In a reasonably dark room, you can back up to about 10-11 feet away and get a massive screen, with pretty good clarity and brightness.- Sound: again, consider what this device is.

so yeah, it's not the brightest projector and will need a fairly dark room to pick up on nuances of the image, but that's fine, it does surprisingly well in average lighting, better than expected

This projector works best when the room is dark

At 30", the pictures are visible even in a bright room

I purchased one of those roll up screens designed for these projectors and once the room was super dark, the show began

Unless you're willing to use this only in a complete dark room, this is not it

The picture quality, though not perfect, is good enough for movie nights with family and friends (picture quality is way better in darker rooms or at night.

but, if this is something you are looking to have permanently in a bright room, I would look into that.

I could get bright-enough picture of about 100" in dark room

It's awesome for situations where you can be in a completely dark room.

It just does not work in the presence of light (maybe a darkened room... with a bit of light...maybe)

The picture is bright enough to go far in a medium-dark room, and the sound is quite loud as well

In a fully dark room, the contrast is better than I expected it to be, and so is the color saturation.

The other issue is that it's really not very bright unless you have a very dark room

Obviously the darker the room the better the picture.

I'm projecting this on my 95 inch screen in a dark room and I constantly needed to refocus the image projected on the screen.

Will say that for the moments the screen would come on, to have a great viewing you would have to be in a very dark room to get the best results

This is not a projector you want to use in a big, well-lit conference room where you also need a large image.

You need the room to be slightly dark in order to have a good viewing experience.2

Here is my experience: I set it up in a dark room, and just pointed it at a blank wall 6 feet away, no special projector screen.

You definitely need a darker room to reap the benefits of the product, but the sound quality is excellent, and the ease of use is refreshing

works as advertised.with 100 lumins room has to very dark any light will drown the image.maybe get the second generation more lumins but at a much higher cost

The ideal use case for this device is projecting Netflix, Youtube, etc a 40"-50" screen on a wall at night in a dark room, on a whim

As for commercial use: if the room isn't completely dark, you can still get a watchable image, but you will probably need to shrink it down by moving the projector closer.

The tech put in this thing is awesome for the size and picture great for a dark room, /night time.

When projecting 100" images, it is perfectly bright in a dark room at night, but is very dim during daytime even with the curtains closed

You need to make sure the room is dark for the best picture quality and i can’t figure out how to display presentations from my laptop on it as I was hoping, but the picture quality isn’t good enough to use it in a work meeting anyways.

I can project about 100” for decent quality in a dark room and anything smaller in the dark would just look crisper

You don't need the room to be super dark to get a pretty bright picture from about 3-8 feet from the wall.

In a dark room I can do a 100-120 inch screen, and the 480p resolution does not bother me at all, I can still read all of the chat really easily, and the colors are still great
