NEEWER Adjustable Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand, Max Load 1 KG Compact Mic Stand Made of Durable Steel for Radio Broadcasting Studio, Voice-Over Sound Studio, Stages, and TV Stations

    • My only complaint is that the clamp (in particular, the adjustable metal cup) is rather poorly designed and can damage desks made of softer woods or composites
    • clamp is kind of weak, but its good for the price.
    • could use a better table clamp and a better rotation adjuster other than that holds up very well
    • The clamp doesn't work very well with heavier microphones
    • The clamp on this mic boom is ineffective and the quality of the overall boom is sub par
    • , the clamp only loosened once and fell.
    • well+ Really hard to suggest against it for under $50Cons:- clamp digs into the desk after 1st move
    • The mount itself appears to be a thicker casting, as well as a sliding bar style clamp system allowing for a more tighter and secure hold on your desk
    • This clamps tightly onto my desk, holds the mic well, and moves easily.
    • I have had some instances where the clamp has become loose, and the foam surrounding the clamp seems to wear out quite fast
    • But sometimes when I move it left the clamp weakens and starts to move out of place but good quality for the price
    • it work, clamp on desk...but there is many thing about this feel cheap...and LOTS of some design flaw..when it come down to keep your mic in place
    • Works great, the clamp gets as tight as you can make it and clamps on to almost all tables
    • The clamp had completely broken and was repairable
    • After just a few days of use with my blue yeti, the clamp gave out and will no longer support my mic
    • I would not recommend buying this item if you plan on moving it more the once cause the second time I tried to move it the clamp snapped and broke
    • Now I have to pay the same price I paid for the arm for an actual decent clamp.
    • The clamp has been really good for not destroying my desk, which is great, because I really like my nice looking desk
    • The arm is steady and durable, and the clamp to attach the arm is strong
    • The metal piece that connects to the base the clamps started to break off, so that was nice, I would not recommend this item
    • The clamp is fine, even the lock in the screw, but if you mount this unit upside down you lose the pivot a right to left pivot
    • The clamp doesn't come loose and hasn't damaged my desk either
    • The clamp doesn't secure well to my desk and actually is causing damage to my desk
    • Sturdy and good clamp on my table, no issues upon bending suspension to the extrema
    • Therefore, after using for a decent amount of time, this boom arm will just continue to get exponentially worse, and the clamp system that didn't work in the first place will work even less than it did then
    • Clamp is really sturdy and strong.
    • This is the revised version with the solid clamp section, the tension of the arm is perfect and can be adjusted included the part for the mic
    • The clamp on this is awful
    • The clamp is rathe small and does not fit on my 3 inchs thick desk (should work fine on a regular desk tough), but it was easy enough to make a adapter to fit the boom on top of my monitor stand (just made a wood plug with a hole in
    • but if you're gonna be moving it around at all you want to spend more money on a boom with a better clamp.
    • The clamp that holds it to my desk is rubbish
    • Sturdy and good clamp on my table, no issues upon bending suspension to the extrema
    • The clamp is great too and holds everything in securely.
    • The clamp doesn't secure well to my desk and actually is causing damage to my desk
    • but the clamp chewed the hell out of my desk!!!
    • My desk also has a piece of wood along the back of the desk closing it off from where you put you legs to hide cables and keep a cleaner look, but it is impossible to mount this arm in the area with that backing because of awful clearance of the bulky clamp system
    • Clamp missing for the microphone suspension
    • The clamp doesn't come loose and hasn't damaged my desk either
    • the metal tightening clamp came broken and stripped had to replace the whole thing with a new screw and a nut to get it to tighten to my desk in order for it to even work properly
    • The clamp is OK, but it may just not work well with my desk
    • Clamp shattered during tightening one week into use
    • Also the padding on the clamp doesn't stay stuck to said clamp very well, so expect that to slip around
    • Didn't Come all together, missing the clip clamp with this in
    • The clamp broke in 5 mins, nothing stays still with the arm, really
    • This clamp is completely useless
    • The clamp really only works on surfaces where the bottom lip is 2+ inches wide
    • The clamp itself isn't good quality, but, like the cheap metal, can't exactly complain too much about the materials because of the price of the arm
    • The clamp on this is really flimsy and breaks very easily
    • sturdy but not a good vice clamp on the bottom.
    • The mic i have is probably not a standard size, but it would be nice to had some sort of adjustable vice or clamp for the microphone holder
    • The clamp is not too strong and the rubber pad wears out quickly if you move it a few times so best to get yourself something better for that part
    • The clamp itself can damage whatever you attach it to if your not careful
    • clamp is kind of weak, but its good for the price.
    • The clamp for the mic can work loose a
    • The clamp is impressively bad, and the stand can't hold the weight of an Audio Technica AT-2035.
    • I dislike the pressure clamps as they can get pretty
    • package incomplete and was missing the clamp
    • Clamp seems sturdy and installation was a breeze.
    • Clamp is secure
    • The clamp is fine, even the lock in the screw, but if you mount this unit upside down you lose the pivot a right to left pivot
    • cheap clamp but works and lasts a long time kind of flimsy as
    • I have been using it for streaming and it is very easy to move around and you can use it anywhere with the adjustable clamp that holds on tight
    • I have had it for a little less than a week and even with no microphone in it the clamp snapped off and is now permanently broken
    • The clamp broke while tightening to the desk
    • The majority of the product is fine but the clamp is made of cheap pot aluminum and broke about the 4th or 5th time I re-positioned the mic.
    • Clamp really hold the stand down securely and the mic doesn’t fall over even when extended out the whole way.
    • The clamp is weak and does not hold very well either
    • My only complaint is the clamp that secures it to a table.
    • The clamp scratched up my desk pretty bad
    • the clamp can damage the edge of your desk if you aren't careful like it did to me
    • Strong mounting clamp with stop bolt to keep the boom from pivoting
    • loose-Clamp is sturdy
    • The clamp wouldn’t hold strong enough mainly because the desktop has a curved lip
    • The clamp doesn't damage my desk with the rubber padding lined inside, no scratches or dents to it
    • Now, someone may say, "well just do not tighten that clamp as much and you should be able to turn the boom arm," and to that I say
    • Also liked the clamp
    • Kept falling with clamp, I replaced the clamp with a wall mount
    • With enough clamping pressure for a secure fit, there's some distortion in the screw part of the clamp, but whatever.
    • Was missing the clamp
    • This one had a much sturdier desk clamp.
    • The clamp doesn't damage my desk with the rubber padding lined inside, no scratches or dents to it
    • And the clamp is easy to mount and turn off, also it has a soft grip inside so it won't do damage to your table
    • Clamp was solid
    • loose-Clamp is sturdy
    • Screws seem decent quality and clamp seems reliable
    • Make sure the desk or table you use it with has enough depth around the edge for the clamp to fit around--mine has a vertical surface about 1 1/2" in from the edge, which makes the attachment of a clamp like this somewhat precarious
    • The clamp with the new foam works great as well
    • I broke the bottom clamp, great, cheap, budget boom
    • It works as expected, but the clamp is super cheap and doesn't tighten down on the arm's tube base very well
    • Package was slightly open at the bottom, and the clamp is missing
    • Clamp is so weak it promptly broke when clamping to desk.
    • My desk as angular edges around the sides, this makes it impossible to clamp this arm onto because of how bulky the clamp is
    • clamp failed after 4 mos
    • The box was missing the table clamp that was supposed to come with it
    • I got sent one with a defected clamp that was not straight and kept moving leading to my microphone falling multiple times because the stand was not stable
    • there's not quite as much spring tension as I'd prefer
    • And as you know, when metal bends, it breaks
    • and it's still working just as good as when I got
    • It won't support a very weighty mic as there's just not enough tension even if you tighten the
    • This thing is about as sloppy as it gets
    • There is one small problem though and that is the base of it wobbles a
    • When you get this the box is misleading as it has a spring mount on the front of the box, and when you take it out it's this cheap plastic thing like in the thumbnail of the product on amazon.
    • Arm cant support mics such as
    • Bit wobbly on it's base but works as it shows
    • I do respect the company as a
    • It's not as flexible as
    • it works just as it supposed to
    • Bought in May and after a month it has started to bend and crack as of July.
    • Keeps my mic off my desk as well as off the
    • The springs hold the mic steady just as well as when I bought it, and the desk clamp stays tight with only ocassional tightening.
    • amazed as to how well this worked
    • Still not a fan I even HAD to remove it so forcefully, unsure as to why it's clamp was designed this way.
    • Cheap thin metal lasted about 1 month p
