The threads on the cheap plastic microphone adapter warped and now I have to get a new one

It works perfectly fine to hold up my shock-mounted Blue Yeti, but mounting the Blue Yeti directly to it seemed like a bad idea given that there's a soft plastic adapter that would need to go between the mic and the arm's male end

Just wish it was a sturdier plastic for the little piece that screws on the Snowball

When you get this the box is misleading as it has a spring mount on the front of the box, and when you take it out it's this cheap plastic thing like in the thumbnail of the product on amazon.

I found and initially used that adapter, but the piece is made out of cheap plastic and ended up stripping almost right away, making for a very loose/unstable fit

They have cheap plastic padding on the top of the vise that got deformed after moving the stand about 5 times which caused the vise to be slanted

Where the microphone is mounted there is a cheap plastic thread which connects the microphone to the arm, and this began to cause problems holding the microphone stable

When attempting to tighten the plastic knobs to keep it in place, the plastic split on the knob at the elbow

Quite honestly its just a cheap plastic mold that is supposed to hold the microphone.

Bought in May and after a month it has started to bend and crack as of July.

Keeps my mic off my desk as well as off the

The springs hold the mic steady just as well as when I bought it, and the desk clamp stays tight with only ocassional tightening.

Still not a fan I even HAD to remove it so forcefully, unsure as to why it's clamp was designed this way.
