NEEWER Adjustable Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand, Max Load 1 KG Compact Mic Stand Made of Durable Steel for Radio Broadcasting Studio, Voice-Over Sound Studio, Stages, and TV Stations

    • However, the springs are VERY loud, the range of motion is TINY, and it can't really handle a heavier mic
    • Only con (if you could even call it that) is that the springs can occasionally make a little noise
    • On a positive note, the springs and boom and quite strong, stay pretty well in place, move easily etc.
    • The springs make noise when you move the arm around, there isn't a whole lot of range of motion, the mounting mechanism is extremely basic, the set position isn't 100% sturdy (as in it has a bit of give before the actual joints move) but again
    • The boom is white instead of black, and it lacks the extra holes for spring tension adjustment that are pictured on the box
    • The springs seems decent and havent had noticed any drooping when keeping the arm extended for longer periods of time
    • The tension springs for the boom arm are nothing special, but a number of the boom arms on the market use weak springs
    • The springs interfere with sound quality
    • The only complaint I have are the exposed springs but This can be fixed by a sleeve
    • It doesn't make any weird "spring" noises when you move it around either.
    • The springs hold the mic steady just as well as when I bought it, and the desk clamp stays tight with only ocassional tightening.
    • The springs and angles hold very well
    • It is a little weak with heavy microphones, the arm just falls off, springs are not strong enough
    • Also the springs on the arm can be quite noisy if you happen to brush against them.
    • On adjustment, its springs occasionally make that creaky noise that a pull-out couch makes when you roll around, but its not too noticeable.
    • : it wobbles a lot, it feels cheap, the springs don't quite lock the in where you want a lot of the
    • The springs feel like they won't last and the the vice on the base is only padded only on the top side thus you may scratch the bottom of whatever you attach it to
    • It does bend down a little, wish the spring was a tad stronger
    • All in all a great product, only downfall is the springs are a bit weak.
    • Doesn't stay tight on the desk and the springs are weak
    • , springs make a ton of noise when desk is bumped... worried that the metal arms will break and my mic will fall off... don’t be cheap and buy this... get a real mic arm
    • Very solid construction and the internal springs are strong enough to support my heavy condenser microphone steadily in place
    • This stand is great, it holds steady and the springs are virtually silent on mic when adjusting the arm
    • The springs have become so tense that they'll literally snap the arm right back up if I try to lower it
    • The springs are kinda strong and holds a medium mic and pop filter no problem
    • The springs can sometimes vibrate (when moved or hit with sound waves)
    • The springs and balance is fine, but the 'head' where it pivots is very weak
    • The springs are also super noisy
    • Cheap thin metal lasted about 1 month p
    • Buy it if u r broke
    • other wise i love it
    • So it does its job great and holds the Samson G-Track that I have just fine
