Neiko 02638A 5" Automatic Center Hole Punch | Adjustable Impact

    • Even if I don't use it to break my car window, I certainly can use it for home improvement projects where I need to market the spot for drilling etc
    • Bought three of these -- one for the workshop and two to fracture windows in the cars (hopefully, never needed)
    • I bought this not for creating a mark for drilling but to test against punches sold as emergency window breakers and to see if it would work as such since it has the large head on it instead of being a skinny device about the size of a pen and would be easier to handle in an emergency.
    • As such I test them on wood and this creates an indentation as deep as the punches sold as emergency window breakers and the large knob makes it much easier to handle, especially in an emergency where something smaller might slip out of my hand.
    • Police rolled up after a couple of minutes and broke the window
    • Through in glove box for just in case...punch out a side window easily.
    • After reading other reviews, decided to get two of these for use in our vehicles for emergencies (i.e., to break out the window if trapped inside, or to free an animal or child left locked inside a car on a hot day
    • Great for my needs in the fire department this makes it so much easier to punch windows with less effort
    • but im sure it would break a car window
    • Neiko 5-Inch Spring Loaded Adjustable Automatic Center Punch, Window Breaker Hard to find this item locally, in fact, couldn't find it at all
    • Comes in real handy as a tool on the fire department To break out windows to rescue people in a wreck
    • Nice heavy Spring load that will break a window quickly.
    • I carry one in my bunker turn-out pants to break tempered/hardened glass car windows
