Good quality steel with a sharp cutting edge.
-
it seemed to have lost its edge.
-
Much cheaper than the Dewalt ones I already have, but the cutting edge is straight instead of twisted like Dewalt
-
lose very fast edge
-
it works fine, good sharp edge
-
The edges on this step drill bit are not sharp, the tool is shaped like a step drill and has the appearance of a step drill but works about as well as a blink monkey striking a tin can with a jagged rock
-
I have retired this bit to be used only for rounding-over / cleaning-up edges after a shaper bit has been used to make the primary cut
-
Good to have some rubber grommets to cover sharp edges.
-
The edges are nice and sharp still and the coating seems fairly durable.
-
All the edges on the bit still feel as sharp as the ones I didn’t use
-
No bite, and lost edge very quickly
-
Much cheaper than the Dewalt ones I already have, but the cutting edge is straight instead of twisted like Dewalt
-
It's heavy, solid, the edges are sharp.
-
lose very fast edge
-
Only a few holes in sheet metal and some 3/16" thick aluminum but seem to hold it's cutting edge well
-
It cut the hole perfectly and FAST with absolutely clean edges
-
Very sharp cutting edge.

The chamfer between the steps not only helps start the next step size, it also provides a nicely beveled edge to the previous (smaller) hole size, cleaning up any burrs that may have resulted from the pilot hole
