I can setup my turntable and get a weight on spliffies all forbinder $20.00.Works great so far.

Installed cartridge, set 5.0 weight on force scale (100% accurate already and didn't need tare), adjusted the tonearm weight to provide 1.4 ounces of stylus force, and adjusted the tonearm weight scale to show 1.4 ounces

This little unit is great for getting the proper weight set for your turntable

The sonic difference between the correct weight, and what I had been using, was noticeable

more expensive tracking weight scales out there, but frankly, you don't need anything more complex than this little tool.

My tonearm weight was not accurate but with the help of this scale I was able to zero out the tonearm counterweight and set the proper tracking weight.

I'm kind of new to this audiophile thing and thought that enough weight to make the record sound good was easy to guess

There is a master weight supplied and the gauge masters fine but no way to check linearity.

Mine displays correct weight with or without the calibration weight

Same with the test weights, if you put them anywhere but dead center it doesn't show the correct weight.

Witch is a waste of money without this, It makes every record I play smoother with a far better dynamic range than just estimating if it's the right weight

After adjusting the counter weight to the proper 1.25g stylus pressure with this scale, my records never sounded this good.
