Nespresso Lattissima Plus Original Espresso Machine with Milk Frother by De'Longhi, Black

    • I think there's only a modest difference in the quality of the espresso produced from the capsules compared to coffee from freshly-ground beans
    • For the cost of a Nespresso machine you should invest a little more and get a Jura or comparable machine that grinds beans and will last definitely longer than this machine
    • I wanted to grind my own beans and make my own coffee in that manner
    • I've been a proper coffee lover for years and have had a variety of machines - my previous one being a very expensive Gaggia that ground the beans too
    • I do, however, have pretty specific taste for normal, brewed coffee and for several years have been using fresh, high quality beans from local roasters with a nice burr grinder and an Aeropress to make my morning cup
    • " Terrazu Dark, whole bean ground to espresso fine in store, Yum
    • Oh, I have also used the Capsulin DIY in the other Nespresso-type machines - latest with cheap terrazu beans ground espresso fine, though I haven't done that on this machine as I am out of grounds and will pick up some in a couple days
    • If you're an espresso purist and you crave the experience of roasting and/or grinding fresh beans for the fullest possible flavor in your coffee drinks, this isn't the best machine for you.
    • GOOD NEWS since I love Sumatran beans along with several other espresso blendsThat said
    • We previously had a $1,500 automatic espresso machine that would grind the beans for you and pour out a barely decent shot of espresso
    • If you're an espresso purist and you crave the experience of roasting and/or grinding fresh beans for the fullest possible flavor in your coffee drinks, this isn't the best machine for you.
    • We first tried Nespresso at a high end B&B and fell in love!
    • PROS:-The coffee is damn good for an automatic machine-One button makes a latte/cappuccino, not two separate steps-It actually froths the milk really well and you can control the level of froth-You can change up the type of coffee easily-The maintenance is ridiculously easy-The machine is very smallCONS:-Okay, so the espresso and milk aren't quite as hot as if you had made it with a manual machine
    • we will never get bored as there is always a new flavor to try
    • Just to be clear, the machine did still produced a decent cappuccino - just not as great as it once was!Whilst other reviewers have commented on the temperature of the hot drinks, I must say that I never experienced a problem in this respect
    • Nice as
    • The coffee comes out not as hot as I would like and the Latte option makes small cups, even if you choose the big cup it only fills half of a mug.
    • The milk container being put in the fridge is great in theory but the milk spoils easily as it is already heated once.
    • i have to admit the keurig doesn't taste as good as it did a year ago and we changed filters, cleaned it etc.
    • All seemed to be working as in the store.
    • To the people complaining about not hot, holy c r a
    • I chose the Lattissima because I wanted actual steamed milk, and not just frothed milk, as well as because of its small size
