    • our whole house, including 2 patios outside, are now covered with FAST & effective service & connections

    • I needed a good connection in another part of the house where I have my exercise equipment but the router wasn't providing a very good signal
    • As much as it's meant for wifi, we have an ethernet port from our AppleTv to it to hopefully keep that connection more stable, and we connected a Cat6E to a 2009 Macbook Pro in another room, just because we find it a little quicker connection
    • and I was surprised that not only did it have a great connection to the router, but the speed of the internet was just as good as my router
    • Well worth the cost for someone that needs to bump up their signal strength for a solid connection
    • This Extender function was exactly what I needed to "tap off" of my Verizon wireless router 3 rooms away, to provide ethernet ports on the back of this Netgear AC1900/EX7000 to feed to a 16-port switch on my main computer desk....where I have 4 permanently wired computers, and various "visiting" computers, all sharing that AC1900 connection back to the Verizon router at full speed....works great
    • Sure it does extend it, but what good is a wider radius with a awful connection?

    • , I was told that it was not "normal" to just lose an LED, even if the transmission remains good, because this is indicative of an unstable connection.
    • I configured the replacement as an extender, put it in the center hall of a 35x44 house, and 12 feet away neither laptop nor phone got more than a couple of bars, and often disconnected--my regular wi-fi router has a better connection!3

    • Setting up was easy and the connection is great!
    • At this point, I'm hesitant to move the extender too much or play with the antennas, so that I don't mess up my connection
    • But for me this product has been nothing but unreliable wifi connections
    • Since my new house is a bit large than my previous house and with the addition of several Smart TVs, XBox, iPad, security cameras, smart home devices and other internet connected items, I just felt like my router was not reaching everywhere it needed to, but more importantly it was not providing all my internet connected devices in my house with a stable internet connection

    • I am using the FastLane option and my connections are faster than before, wired or wireless.
    • My connection has always been spotty at best.
    • After you have done the preliminary check setting up the extender near the router(again, I suggest going through the manual method, not only to ensure a good connection, but to get used to making the setup, under what should be optimal conditions, spend some time with the siting of your router since having the optimally strong signal between the two is KEY to having a long-term stable connection
