The coverage is excellent.

I would recommend this extender for anyone that has a large home and wants to have good coverage throughout.

prior to adding the extender to my Netgear R7000 router I had several dead zones or low coverage, limited coverage in the basement and no coverage outside

The AC1900 WiFi extender has worked as hoped on the 2.4 mh band (the 5.0 band has poorer coverage).

It is placed in another building and provides good coverage

The AC1900 is working great and the coverage is fantastic.

I don't use all the other features but the AP antennas work amazing coverage wise.

I bought my Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Range Extender because my Linksys EA9200 had poor coverage upstairs

The Nighthawk range extender provides great coverage at the house to include the backyard

My router is on another floor and this improved coverage.

My Verizon router on the 2nd floor had quite limited coverage within the house, especially on the 1st floor.

After talking with NetGear support to set up the Nighthawk, we are now getting great coverage around the house

So, my advice is, if it's not working as you expected, try moving it to a few different locations

The 2G and 5G signals were both very strong

Both of these issues are particularly frustrating because they aren't an issue of the excellent Netgear 802.11N access point I replaced it with or the excellent Netgear 802.11G access point that came before that

Sometimes 2G would stop working but 5G would be working or vice versa

Remember that "5G" means 5 gigahertz - a frequency - not like phone generation terminology "4G".

I put this range extender upstairs, and we now have clear 2.4G and 5G signals on the patio

I am NOT going to miss my old Amped Wireless SR20000G.

and I had two 5G media connectors (Linksys) that fell off the network periodically.
