Vague set-up directions, worst customer service ever and the fact the "customer service" rep wanted to charge me a fee so he could remote into my computer to see if I did something wrong really makes this the worse buying decision I've made in recent memory.

I have always love Netgear products for decades and I am happy to buy this wi-fi range extender that compliments my new Netgear Nighthawk X8 ac 5300 which is currently the fastest and easiest to connect all my devices from security cameras indoors, outdoors, 2 iMac desktops and MacBook Pro laptop, and my desktop pc, several smart Tvs, Xbox one, ps4, Nintendo wii u, iPhone, iPad, iPod, 2 blu Ray players, Nest thermostat, nest protect, and my hue smart lights

Unfortunately, on the ground floor, especially in the areas most distant from the router, with an extra wall interposed, I normally get only a weak 1-2 Mb/s signal, compared to the 85 Mb/s on the top floor
