Since my new house is a bit large than my previous house and with the addition of several Smart TVs, XBox, iPad, security cameras, smart home devices and other internet connected items, I just felt like my router was not reaching everywhere it needed to, but more importantly it was not providing all my internet connected devices in my house with a stable internet connection

A powerful WiFi device with the worst, definitely most frustrating configuration process I've ever seen, and I've been doing these since before the first WRT54Gs came out.

At close to $400 for the pair, I should not have to be rebooting daily and clearing device settings.

Internet speed degraded, some devices had inconsistent problems connecting to the network (both wired and wireless, and I had to reboot this unit almost daily to resolve problems

they have no idea what they are talking about or had a bad luck with a bad device.

This allows devices that are only compatible with 2.4Ghz frequencies, like my Doorbell 2, to gain the speed of your 5Ghz from your router at a farther distance because it is repeating the signal

As of 10/16/2017, this device is susceptible to the Krack attack affecting the WPA2 protocol

I thought that I could achieve higher speeds when doing certain things on my network since this device is faster than my cable modem (which is only 802.11n

So functionally, this device works exactly as described and is easy to use
