The less expensive model probably would have done the job but this one is working pretty good so far, so no real complaints.

After working through a few set up configuration challenges (Thank God for the Netgear FAQ, Youtube and Google), I was able to set up the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Range Extender (EX7000)

Paired with the Netgear AC1900 router works great.

I purchased this product in hopes of extending my wifi signal from my house to my workshop - 125 ft away from the in-home wireless router and it has worked great.
