NETGEAR C7500-100NAS Nighthawk X4 (24x8) AC3200 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem WiFi Router Combo | Certified for Xfinity by Comcast, COX, Spectrum & More(C7500)

    • The techs at the cable company can see it attempting to talk to their servers, but an IP address is never assigned and the device never succeeds in establishing an internet connection, instead constantly generating errors that their system sees
    • Router lost IP address after power outage
    • Somehow the IP address had become corrupted
    • and I had to call Netgear because the IP address was messed up
    • It was unplugged and when it was booted back up somehow the IP address was messed up
    • Range did not improve with the Nighthawk as I
    • Disappointing - I will likely have to resort to buying a new modem.
    • I just used the start up booklet steps and had it working i 5 minutes after the cable installer left...
    • The only reason I gave this unit a 4 star rating is because it doesnt switch between channels as fast as I would like when wifi is conjusted.
    • Google "C6300 bug"These do not work as of today
    • The router function was working as it showed the wi-fi connection, but obviously, that meant nothing without the internet connection.
    • As for the Netgear C7100V, it performed well as of now
    • You can limit access by time of day as well as by website type!
    • As I said, it works as it should and is exactly what I'd get if the cable company provided me one to rent so I am happy.
    • Work as it should.
    • And I will never ever buy again another Netgear (see the Dec 2016 security alert problems causing the US Government to warn against all Netgear R-modems) due to their security problems, their firmware problems, and most of all their absolute refusal to support their products out of warranty and absolute refusal to let you know when to expect updates.
