The write-up for this product on Amazon neglects to inform about the line error ("the known issue") and netgear has not reprinted the packaging to remove compatibility with spectrum from the box

Why hasn't Netgear addressed this known issue?

After multiple calls to support, the latest one being over 90 minutes long, I'm told there is a known issue with this modem and spectrum.
