Here this Netgear router had a hard time going over 25 download!I suspect this guys
-
Bought this Modem (c7000) to replace crappy Arris Time Warner modem (Spectrum)
-
Don't waste your time.
-
this time I can assure you it won't be NetGear
-
You'll be happier the next time you stream 4K movies or fight the zombie horde
-
it's incredibly time wasting and frusutrating
-
# & Router Model #, when we tried to log onto the net the modem had a hard time going over 25 megs
-
They will require you to buy a support plan if it is past 90 days, we declined multiple times until they offered to email has the troubleshooting steps for us to complete on our own
-
it no longer will connect with the internet, now all this time I have to wonder if Netgear was to blame the enite time!
-
Had a Time Warner modem originally, but was constantly losing internet service
-
I should mention that I installed an apparatus that turns off and recycles the unit every day [at convenient time I specified] in order to prevent errors in the Internet service delivery
-
Worked great for almost a year, now wifi signal drops about 5 or more times a day and have to keep rebooting
-
If over 3 months, they will give you 30 minutes of free time, after that you have to pay
-
The last time I replaced a modem it was like walking through the fires of hell.
-
I doubt if their support's strategy is driving you in circle and wasting your time until you finally run out of patient and just give up complaining
-
This caused me to spend unnecessary time trying to troubleshoot.2- The attached Cat 5 cable was damaged
-
So, may just have been bad line timing.
-
(The screen LOOKS like you can set times - but I've tried to set the High filtering for
-
It gets connected easily with no trouble, no network drops, and when updating and downloading apps on my phone I noticed that the time for download is pretty fast than before
-
This WiFi modem and router works for my Spectrum (formerly known as Time Warner Cable) 100MB internet service
-
The wireless is very intermittent cutting in and out multiple times per hour.
-
Several times a week my devices will be unable to find it.
-
and we lose connection all the time
-
Easy to install and it worked the first time
-
TP-Link AC1200 Gigabit - its been a great combo and its the first time that I am 100% happy with my TimeWarner/Spectrum service
-
it's incredibly time wasting and frusutrating
-
It is adequate for running all devices at the sane time and does so with minimal hiccups if any, usually cleared up in less than 5 seconds
-
As mentioned in lot of other reviews, this router keeps losing connection multiple times a day just 6 months after purchase
-
But every time it is fixed, it would break down after a while
-
Wifi loses connectivity all the time
-
Also Netgear customer service sucks big time as there is no support after 90 days unless you pay $50 to just talk to customer service rep with no guarantee that your product will still be fixed or not
-
Now, another 2 months later, same issue coming back - this time even worse
-
This time, it was all cloud nine.
-
Router Freezes 6 to 7 times a day
-
I've disconnection issues all the time
-
I will have service from them for well past the 21 month time frame to break even on this investment
-
We've had continual problems with this router-modem dropping wifi connections MANY times a day for weeks on end.
-
Called tech support many times and they all want to troubleshoot over and over.
-
Two stars for less than 100% accurate advertising, abysmal technical support, and so much time wasted troubleshooting.
-
You won t be disappointed
-
Range did not improve with the Nighthawk as I
-
Disappointing - I will likely have to resort to buying a new modem.
-
I just used the start up booklet steps and had it working i 5 minutes after the cable installer left...
