I would really recommend this unit.
-
Called Tech support at Netgear and their diagnosis was yes that the unit is bad
-
Unit fails to reboot which then requires up to 10 unplug/plug power and maybe, just maybe it will come back online.
-
Great unit works good replaced a rental unit got tired of wasting money
-
I did love the unit but not worth $199 for 6 months, hell would have been better off paying $15 a month with Comcast
-
My old unit got real hot and destroyed the paint on my wall.
-
If there was a single complaint, it would be that the unit is exceptionally bright - each of those four antennas have a bright blue light on the end of them, and the box also has multiple blue lights shining like beacons into the night.
-
My unit stopped working after four months
-
Once they get the defective unit they then mail a replacement
-
The unit stopped working correctly 6 months after purchase and Netgear customer service is absolutely horrible.
-
Very finicky unit, may have gotten a bad one the first time.
-
The IP installer commented it was a good unit, signal strength great and does just as well as their units
-
In addition, this unit has the capability of turning on/off the WiFi via a push button.
-
This is a really solid cable modem/WiFi combo unit
-
Total bull crap if you ask me, i bought your unit, you should provide service on it
-
This unit is great
-
And the unit is sleek
-
Is it possible that I simply received a bad unit
-
I gave it three stars because this unit has a great, simplistic design and speed exceeded my service plan...when it worked.
-
I highly recommend this unit.
-
Like that the modem and router are one unit as I had two before
-
upgraded from Zoom modem, much better unit
-
Plus it seriously outperforms the unit I had before this one.
-
I would recommend this unit!
-
This unit worked great for about 3 weeks
-
I wouldn't recommend this unit.
-
The unit has been in place over a week and no issues or problems as yet
-
However, after only 2 and a half months, the unit went dark
-
My old unit got real hot and destroyed the paint on my wall.
-
I did love the unit but not worth $199 for 6 months, hell would have been better off paying $15 a month with Comcast
-
Great combo unit, no more lagging, reliable, handles anything I throw at it!
-
and I do recommend this unit for speed and dependability since we haven't had to reboot once since we put it in.
-
This is a great unit, well built, good setup instructions, good coverage, useful features, would recommend to anyone looking to setup a full network with Wi-Fi or upgrade their current hardware.
-
Fast refurbished unit
-
I wanted to like this unit
-
I would recommend this unit for Comcast people.
-
(Both old Netgear units) out of the closet (thank
-
I am really impressed, I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for high speed internet.
-
Love the coverage area, great unit!
-
This unit is about as bad as the comcast units I was trying to replace
-
Great unit
-
They sent one of their technicians out the next day who determined that the unit itself was faulty
-
The 16x4 channels make this a fast unit
-
Even if the C7000's performance weren't impeccable, it's design and ease of use as a 2 in 1 unit would be well worth its cost.
-
Well...this is an excellent modem & phone unit if you have Comcast.
-
Unit also needed frequent log ins after losing connection
-
I should add here, if you ever need something replaced under warranty your options are either to mail them back the defective unit, and you pay the shipping
-
Range did not improve with the Nighthawk as I
-
Disappointing - I will likely have to resort to buying a new modem.
-
I just used the start up booklet steps and had it working i 5 minutes after the cable installer left...
-
You won t be disappointed
