I'm assuming my product is defective because it is unable to handle and dish out the increased internet speeds

Product was updating and phone died and now modem doesn't work had to connect to my pc and try to jump through all the loops to get it working again and wasted 6 hours doing nothing and modem still blinking and won't provide Internet any more
