I loved this device.

Loving the device, faster speeds, reaching farther distances

I rely on my home network for a lot of important things, such as smart devices and a security system

OS still has some bugs and need improvement but loving the device overall.

IF you edit access page to LAN dhcp which you should if you are like me and have 30+ devices (servers etc etc ) you will have conflicts, unknown devices AND!!

I love any device that comes with an app

No lag, no slowing of speeds even when > 30 devices are sucking up the WiFi like a Galaxy eating super massive black hole.

Really bumped up our speed and handles multiple devices very well.

Can't wait to upgrade my compatible devices to 10GBe on the same network to really take advantage of the speed.

We were getting just enough devices and internet speed increases through our network provider that our current router couldn't keep up.

Super easy to configure, great range and bandwidth management, Easy UI with firmware update, connected devices labeling for bandwidth control and security, thus far ( 1 week) its an amazing product.

I can see (and name) devices that are connected to my network and easily disable devices I don't recognize or just want to disconnect

The real benifit is the ability to run BitDefender antivirus software directly from the router, meaning that all devices on your network are protected without installing anything on your devices!

I have multiple devices in my home, and I had improved the speed on all of them.

As such, this device is useless for its intended purpose

Great router many devices in our household and the router is able to keep up a connection to all devices

Every device seems like its connected directly to ethernet

So to sum up, if you need an incredibly reliable, fast and easy to use WiFi router to build out your network, this device will not leave you disappointed!

I'm now faced with prospect of disconnecting and reconnecting and all my smart home devices + needing to go through all the trouble of returning the defective router.

This kills my remote access to every smart device at home

This device was just not an improvement over my old Airport Extreme with N - speed

I had an older net gear router that was not able to handle the demands for the wired cat six connection and support the wireless devices in our home

All of our smart home devices went offline since they were on the 2.4GHz

It will support up to 20 devices without any drop off and run 4k streaming on 3 devices at one time

Have up to 14 devices connected and no lag, specially when streaming or watching live broadcasts

Actually I can not manage my devices because all the app that is provided for that purpose simply vanished all the attached devices in my network after spending lot of time on blogs and internet the only suggestion that i found is to reset the router and some people complain that it only works for a couple of days

I bash this device however Ive also doubled down on the manufacturer as Ive just returned this one and bought the upgraded model

The Nighthawk device is solid and looks nice too.

I have a good amount of smart devices connected to my internet

I mainly bought for the 5GHZ usage as all my devices between computers, Ipad’s, Phones, TV’s, Nest, Xbox and PS4 have the capability and the signal is far more superior compared to my ASUS router

I highly recommend this device and any other hardware offered by Netgear!

My beef with this powerful device is that it's firewall does not have proper inbound filtering

What kind of a fool do you take me for, my previous router had no problem connecting my devices to the internet

Maybe 48-72 hours of bliss before it went back to ignoring all devices on the LAN

Before, I was using my ISP’s standard router and the WiFi was slow as molasses since the limit on their was only 14 devices, so once I had more than 14 everything started to slow down

Started having problems with it dropping devices from wireless several months after purchasing it.

I have several other Netgear devices in my house that work fine and have been in use for years

Now multiple devices are not a problem.

Love the fact that this router has 3 different guest networks so you can isolate devices like cameras or Alexa devices from your main network.

This device excelled at downloading data.

It is easy to install and all of my smart devices where easily connected.

It has the 2.4G network that has speeds up to 600mbps for older/cheaper devices as well as two 5G networks that you can have the router automatically balance all your devices between the two to get the best speed.

It took me a bit to figure out how to do port-forwarding on the unit, as opposed to the D-Link (which severely limited how many ports you could forward.
