NETGEAR Nighthawk X10 AD7200 802.11ac/ad Quad-Stream WiFi Router, 1.7GHz Quad-core Processor, Plex Media Server, Compatible with Amazon Alexa (R9000)

    • Firmware updates/flashes/resets don’t correct the issue.
    • Over all though minor issues aside I still really love this thing
    • They are calling it an intermittent issue
    • Easy setup and no issues.
    • I love my new Nighthawk Router, I havent had a single issue and it
    • However, these past few days it seems that the issue is creeping back up as my wifi has gone out 4 times today alone
    • Other more minor issues: QoS gave me tons of problems with my xbox, so I disabled it
    • Some reviews have had issues and knocks against this
    • So far so good, no issues once setup
    • I insisted that it's quite obviously an unresolved firmware issue (others have reported similar problems), but Netgear denied this and claimed it must be defective hardware.
    • Awesome router no issues
    • NO intermittent issues
    • They have agreed to send me a replacement unit but based on what I've read on online forums, this is a well known issue that appears in this router
    • The most significant issue is that a firmware update 32 days after I bought the router corrupted the 5ghz radio and rendered it unusable
    • I've had issues with it being unresponsive for both wired and wireless
    • Only issue for me is the inability to shut off ALL the LEDs, i had to place it in my room for ideal coverage of my house, but I dont like all the light
    • No real issues at all although it took me a little bit to get the external Plex Media Server working but other than that, setup was nice and smooth
    • Never lost connectivity or suffered any reboot issues
    • In 1.5 years with the Fios router, less than a dozen times did my Netflix or Amazon Video playback suffer any playback issues
    • After reading the Netgear forums, it seems that this is a very common issue and reverting back to an old firmware version should fix the problem (which is unacceptable in the tech world)
    • Only issue was my lack of knowledge about how to deal with the wireless printer connection.
    • This router cleared the issues up
