Netgear had no clear fix other than to return the product

My issue mentioned in the review below was finally fixed and I no longer have to rely on an unreleased version of the firmware

I might end up returning it if this problem can not be fixed

I'm still not sure whether the new version of firmware (which, as Netgear indicated did not create any problems with Windows 10) will resolve the bad config issue I've had, but at least the hardware problem is fixed.

Users who have the option of doing so should strongly consider discontinuing use of affected devices until a fix is made available

Those issues have been fixed in newer versions, so please update as soon as possible

There was a glitch with the 3G network after update some setting in the web based configuration page, but a reboot fixed that issue

I am not sure whether the security problem has been fixed or not

I might increase the rating to 4 stars if this issue ever gets fixed reliably

The ambient temperatures I measured since I the router began operation has never exceeded 79ºF; right now it's 78ºF.Because of this, the router reliability is likely marginal, maybe because of bad thermal design
