NETGEAR Orbi Ultra-Performance Whole Home Mesh WiFi System - fastest WiFi router and single satellite extender with speeds up to 3 Gbps over 5,000 sq. feet, AC3000 (RBK50)

    • The mesh WiFi in the house is great covering areas I had connectivity issues in the past
    • Easy to install & instantly reached previously problematic areas of the house
    • I also used a signal testing app (WiFi Sweetspots) and determined that the signal degradation in the worst areas of my apartment was very tolerable
    • Suffice it to say, the entire basement was a dead zone and areas in between varied from acceptable (first floor, closest to the modem) to mostly inadequate.(note: if you are unfamiliar with some of the terminology in this section, don't let it confuse you
    • We now have WiFi where we used to have dead areas.
    • , it allowed us to cut our cable cord and go to Internet TV based set up and fix our dead zone areas in our house.
    • The worst area I still get 30-50Mbps
    • ft. home and have yet to find a “dead” area
    • The area that it covers is AWESOME....
    • Easy to install & instantly reached previously problematic areas of the house
    • Even worse, the area with the most disconnects had the Orbi Satellite SITTING IN THE SAME SMALL ROOM
    • but I even get wifi outside, some area's are a better
    • The speeds are very good in all locations of our house, especially those that were weak or dead areas before, and there have been no dropped devices
    • It has boosted my cell phone booster coverage as
    • It just works as they say
    • So now non-tech family members have to mess with network properties as they come and go.
    • This simple setup alleviates signal and transfer issues encountered throughout the odd shape of the floorplan as well as across multiple floors.
    • Believe the hype, this actually works exactly as they say it will
    • The wired backhaul feature doesn't work as of last weeks auto-update
    • I have the base system, as well as, the outdoor satellite.
    • We picked this over the eero despite the bigger form factor due to ethernet ports as well as I think it'll vent better than small pucks
    • I have a gigabit speed she complained a
    • The outdoor satellite is shooting a signal about 500 feet to our smart garden irrigation system, as well as, covering our three greenhouses which utilize smart environmental control systems
    • The back haul capability is either not completely developed yet or is a dream as is clear it is not fully supported as of now.
    • I can saturate my 300mb/s connection from anywhere in my house now as well as in my garage and back patio
    • As I can't update, have no support, and am vulnerable, this device is going into the E-Waste pile, after just 6 months of use
