    • However, It doesnt work 4 times as well..
    • Strong download times and excellent streaming on all my devices
    • new one dont bothet wasting your time for this refurbished product
    • Third time the charm right?
    • Not happy, next time will buy from a local store, so we can return it with original packaging and proof of purchase.
    • Prior to this I had an Asus RT-AC66u, and while it finally died after a few years, it virtually NEVER crashed like this...perhaps a few times over the years, but nothing like this Nighthawk
    • The only time it resets is if the power fails.
    • I use the category filtering with OpenDNS as well as the time and mobile app to control access for my children's devices.
    • Otherwise, you'll waste time and money, troubleshooting non-existent problems, trying all sorts of different things and wondering if your ISP is ripping you off.
    • I tried multiple times, but the router simply refused to acknowledge my attempt to factory reset and continued to flash the singular blinking white light
    • Have loved online Amazon ordering, but not a good option this time.
    • Even though it is the same issue every time
    • Time will tell how well this works with all my devices.
    • but I am not going to call and waste my time
    • Very powerful WiFi covers my whole house...ten times better than the WiFi router that came from my cable company!
    • Repeat this a third time and I screamed "READY
    • After he wasted my time then he transfered me to another level support.
    • The router (Netgear R7000) hangs and needs a restart every day, sometimes a few time during a day
    • Fine print, from a small sticker applied inconspicuously to the side of the box: "This router does not support some of the mandatory features ratified in Draft 3.0 of IEEE 802.11AX specification, such as Uplink OFDMA, Target Wake Time, and BSS Coloring
    • Had a hard time understanding tech support.
    • Before I had ATT Uverse and leased their router for 3 years and it was crap the whole time.
    • But for bandwidth, I'd have a hard time recommending this unless you have new devices that can use the AX functionality and you need a new router right now.
    • To be fair if I had used the Netgear Nighthawk app, I probably wouldn’t have wasted so much time.- Features: (5 stars)
    • i have had to call tech support many time and never get any results
    • In the aforementioned basement, I can usually hit in the neighborhood of 400 megabits sustained, but on this router, it had a hard time pushing more than 200
    • Worked first time with no problems
    • Prior to this I had an Asus RT-AC66u, and while it finally died after a few years, it virtually NEVER crashed like this...perhaps a few times over the years, but nothing like this Nighthawk
    • Works better then most routers however its also 4 times the price
    • It looses connection all the time
    • This router absolutely sucks, I bought this after 8 years with my old router and thought it was a good time to upgrade to 4K streaming
    • This has the fastest setup time I've ever experienced with any router I've owned.
    • Getting a defective router is an incredibly time-consuming event.
    • but it's still 5 times better than wasting $
    • There were noticeable lag many times and I didn't like how there was no "Working"
    • My cable provider supplied me with a 16x4 modem and basic router which was good for advertised speeds however, I didn't have the range I desired and I also had a hard time gaming while my girlfriend was streaming HD shows in the other room
    • It works great every time.
    • JUST NOT AS ADVERTISED.Don't waste your time and money unless you have supplemental solution to extend the signal of the unit.
    • However, It doesnt work 4 times as well..
    • nothing fixes it but restarting the router every damn time and interrupting the whole network
    • In the 6 months I have used it it has required technical support roughly 10 times to keep it functioning, each time it has taken 45 minutes to an hour and a half to get up and running
    • I also didn't like its short time-out time interval.
    • The service support process provided was frustrating, extremely time consuming and fruitless to the point I purchased the Netgear even though it was still under warranty
    • And what's really frustrating is that often times when the first port would light up I'd plug the second hard drive in and the first one would go away and the second one wouldn't light up either
    • I then received an automated email saying a support case was opened and shortly thereafter received an email from Netgear technical support asking for my phone number and the best time for them to call, but the email was sent from a do_not_reply address and there was no other contact information in the
    • it doesn't work the first time try turning it off and turning it on again
    • The Nighthawk router (R7000) has been a great replacement for my previous router (Asus) that would constantly reboot any time I tried to cast to Chromecast, and just lose connection for no reason
    • but I would not waste my time or money being another NetGear product ever again.
    • Called support 4 times and no luck.
    • Not enough time yet, to see if it goes higher download than 200 MBPS
    • Getting warranty support is a pita: you can't just send a defective product for repair, they have to work through their test procedures; their test procedures suck, it's basically wasting your time for no added value; if connection is lost, you'd have to start over with a different rep; etc, etc
    • Don't waste your time getting the new AX (wifi 6) tech since its not readily available in devices they said
    • but I see they have a ton of settings for parents to block websites or keywords, and also limit commnection time and
    • My only negative is the time it took to get connected
    • n’t support the newer protocols
    • n’t work properly.
    • n’t had any issues with loading times on streaming or gaming services
    • This will need to lie flat, however, as I
    • Ok not as strong as I imagine
    • and M though not cheap they are worth every penny if you want strong and trouble free Wi-Fi.
