I love that Netgear has teamed up with Netduma to combine ultra powerful hardware to go along with the best software I've used, which is named DumaOS.Duma OS is the most user friendly software I've seen, but it's not just easy it's also advanced enough for the most technical minded.

but of course that's what the Velop is designed to do, however this router puts out much more speed to direct devices especially when plugged in, the X8 had slightly higher specs than this router but with the amazing Duma software on the online portal it actually beats the X8 if you set everything up properly and the fact that this router can specify how far away the servers you connect to can be it makes it totally worth the $300, if you don't want to spend that much on just a router I get it, there's other options, but if you have the money I recommend this 100% for gamers

I'd highly recommend this for really anyone looking to spend this much on a router, most ISPs can't give you the maximum speed of what modern high end routers can provide, but this gives great speed as well as having a great software that you'll notice more than the higher rated speeds.

The Netgear Nighthawk XR500 is a awesome piece of technology in my opinion and its all do to the amazing operating system software DumaOS

The QOS Software is some of the most intuitive and cutting edge software for a router out there.
