due to lack of ankle and arch support, I tried them as just an everyday casual shoe, but that didn't work out either because after walking in them for several hours and several occasions, my ankles and my calves hurt so bad, I could barely move the next day.

White shoes are hard to keep clean, so I have a "dressy" pair and then a work/walking pair.

I felt more comfortable walking bare foot.
