    • If you're an old school gamer like me who grew up playing Nintendo and Super Nintendo, I'm willing to bet that you'll be able to appreciate the classic platforming elements from the Super Mario series that are found in NSMBW; the familiar game mechanics of hopping onto enemies to squash them, the 2D side scrolling level design, the return of past villains from the franchise like the Koopalings, and most importantly, the good old fashioned fun that Mario platformers have always been and still continue to be even after 25 plus years since the original Super Mario Bros game
    • The game looks horrible using my Wii U, mind
    • then New Super Mario Bros. 2 on Nintendo 3Ds, and finally New Super Mario U, a launch game on the Wii
    • I didn't like either of them as much in the sequel for the Wii U even while that game plays in true High-Definition
