Besides connectivity and better speed, I wanted to eliminate as much WiFi as possible from my congested neighborhood, to improve the performance of those devices that must use WiFi (iPad, iPhone, etc.).Besides it's compact size and low price, the RC-16 sports (8) 10/100/1000 connections which are all Auto-MDI-X (they auto crossover if connected to another switch), what's also special about this unit in it's price range is that it has a metal case (which can reduce emissions and interference)
