Works as advertised, over 50' of CAT6 cable from 2nd floor to basement

I bought this extender on 5/9/2016 and it worked great for about 2

This extender makes it really easy to extend your signal without any loss.

This is an excellent HDMI extender; after receiving a defective one, tech support very quickly got another one to me that works perfectly

I'm happy to say this works perfect just as an IR extender.

I used this HDMI extender over 50' of CAT5E cable and it works great.

I ordered the Cable Matters HDMI extender and that worked good although it was $90

Solid construction makes for a recommended product (and a good value).

I was skeptical but it works and was a great value

But regardless, I'm pretty pleased with how well they ended up working.

To be absolutely sure there wasn't something in the wiring in my walls, I verified my Cat6 cable was working well with good speed

I have owned a number of HDMI extenders and they have all worked more or less "okay"

good product works perfect to connect an extra monitor for my security camera system

One thing to note is that I am not using the IR repeaters on this unit because I am using the Harmony Home Control to control the set top box remotely.

I plugged the uverse box directly into the AVR - that worked using a separate tv, and plugged the uverse box into the extender - and that worked at the remote tv.

I purchased 2 of them to split 1 cable box into 2 zones

Install the other unit the "HDMI in" with the UVERSE Set top box.

The plan was keep the set top box hidden in the basement, so we ran HDMI, CAT 5E, and RG6 COAX cables between the basement and the TV Mount location.

I have tried several HDMI extenders, and these are the best, and reasonably priced

The price and description were exactly what I was looking for, but when I hooked this up it did not work

I've used known good HDMI cables on both ends and known good network cable.

I ended up just buying a 35 foot HDMI cable that works without any issues.

Wasn’t going to pay for two set top boxes from my cable provider

Bought 2 sets of these, unable to get first set working, picture kept coming and going

Install the other unit the "HDMI in" with the UVERSE Set top box.

I have five sets of these boxes in use, and they work flawless

Ran a full HD signal out of my laptop through these extenders along a 100ft. run into an HD projector and the signal is perfect.

Once the all-black screen was filled with a picture (or something of color) it would find the signal again and everything would work.

Despite having to power the units at both ends, the picture and audio quality works great in my application

Works well, inexpensive and good picture, even on a 120" projector screen.

I installed these units using a 100 ft shielded Cat 7 cable and the picture is not clear.

Works very well, perfect clear picture and sound using CAT 6 cable.

Like others suggested, I tested the unit with a 50' cat 5e cable and all was good

Kudos to the seller I purchased it from - they advised me that I probably received defective units and advised me to return.
