I have owned a number of HDMI extenders and they have all worked more or less "okay"

Video and sounds worked great from the uverse box to the tv via the AGPtek extenders.

good product works perfect to connect an extra monitor for my security camera system

One note, my house only has Cat5e wiring and this seems to be working rather fine over those runs, but they are generally shorter than 20m since the panel is in the center of the house, I expect you would probably need Cat6 for longer runs.
