It produces a very smooth, mellow tone and seems to be quality rubber.
-
I read a lot of reviews before buying this one; I was hesitant about the fact that it's plastic, but the tone and tune are great
-
And its tone is very nice.
-
Seems to be easier to keep the right breath pressure and tone
-
Both exceeded my expectations in tone quality -- very mellow toned and pitch accurate
-
The breath response is soft, the tone is warm
-
I love the tones of this one as it is so
-
The tone is nice, albeit a surprisingly warm sounds
-
Beautiful rich tone
-
The things I notice are that it's easy to hold, my fingers tend to go just where they should, it has a good ocarina tone, and it plays perfectly in tune according to my chromatic tuner.
-
You can get good tone
-
Overall, incredible tone, top notch build quality, and simply looks snazzy.
-
, it's durable, it's NOT A SOPRANO, thank God, it's light with a slight grippiness, and it's got a smooth and even tone, great for beginners or for masters alike
-
It has a very nice tone, bright and loud
-
It'll never achieve an authentic tone
-
I had a ceramic Ocarina before, but I have to say this one feels better (rubberized plastic), sounds better (sharp tones from sharp tone holes are reduced; overall tone is more soft, warm, you hear more of the tone, and less of the wind and high frequencies, ranging in the 2+kHz region
-
Consistent tone and use everyday for fun and pleasure.
-
Seriously, the tone of this ocarina is superb and is in tune
-
This one came perfectly tuned, and can produce surprisingly dynamic tones ranging from rich and deep to bright and clear.
-
The tone is beautiful throughout the range of the instrument, and the fingerholes are very responsive to glissandos, trills, and percussive strikes.
-
It's a very well tuned plastic ocarina with a clear tone throughout the range
-
Excellently made, feels great, has great tone if you play it correctly, seems perfectly in tune to my *slightly* trained ear
-
The tone is nice as well
-
It blows easily, is much better in tune, and has a decent tone
-
Great tone, tuning is spot on, its not at all shrill, and it feels marvelous
-
It has the clearest tone of any plastic ocarina I've played (including the Focalink Stein bravura) and even beats some of the ceramic ones I have, has an even rising breath curve, and only requires an acute bend on the highest note
-
Great tone, tuning is spot on, its not at all shrill, and it feels marvelous
-
The E and the F will, of course, benefit tremendously from it
