    • Very clear & focusing is really easy & quick
    • excellent for portraiture, super fast, focusses very well

    • It's the only lens I have that has a focus ring which I love
    • 4 star only because too slow auto focus
    • at 1.8 its really hard to aim at moving things, the focus, when just a tiny bit off, is completely blurry, so if the autofocus were a tiny bit better that would be amazing
    • I have a 50 mm prime manual focus, and while it was great, I didn't love it
    • Super fast auto-focus, feels heavy and well-built
    • I can easily get the camera to get a solid focus and then manually bump it in either direction, thus giving me so much more control over the final composition of my shots
    • Love the soft dreamy backgrounds, but feels like the focus is never where i want it to be, always a bit off.
    • (I am not a pixel-peeper or a pro, but I know when focus has been missed)

    • The focusing is not precise in manual
    • Very loud when focusing
    • I have tested it extensively, and if anything, it has a slightly softer focus compared to my kit lens.
    • focus is especially inaccurate in warm indoor lighting, which kind of negates the benefit of the fast aperture - might as well be a 2.8 lens for practical purposes
    • Very good D.O.F and auto focus works great.
