Nikon D5200 24.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera Body Only (Black)

    • The resolution is large enough, the dynamic range and color depth are wide enough, and the ISO efficiency is so good, I can take a low-light photo of a streetlamp at night, crop out a third of the image, blow it up to the original's size, and still have a crisp, clear, vivid, and noiseless image that I could print at 13x20 inches and hang on a wall, or sell at a gallery
    • The D5200 produces extremely good quality images just like the D3200
    • I just want a camera that is easy to use, solidly built, and makes extremely sharp images.
    • Nikon says this means it can produce sharper images that make the most of its resolution ... and presumably the firm is confident users won't suffer (too much) in terms of moiré and aliasing artifacts
    • It's a great camera that's easy to use, packed with features and produces amazing quality images.
    • 5/5Nikon D5200 features great image quality with 14MP and a great ISO
    • Have taken some marvelous images while at Bayou La Batre, Al
    • JPGs are a little soft even after making in-camera adjustments; Shooting Raw and using Nikon's very good Image Editing software can enhance the photos quite a bit.
    • I love how clear the images are and there are 39 focus points, which is great!
    • Sharp images, easy to use, versatile..
    • Pros:- great image and
    • It is a frequent cause of soft images.
    • Good images
    • Another person also got surprisingly good images with a $250? point and shoot camera: a Panasonic with a built in Leica lens which an on-board technical employee of Leica said was a quality lens.
    • I see nothing gained with a 24MP model over the Canon 60D 18MP, which produces sharper images as a kit shot for shot
    • Some of the best images we have ever seen have come out of this camera
    • Great images and video
    • Digital SLR Camera is very well make and the image its product better too
    • The Nikon D5200 is best value for money in terms of image quality and capabilities with its 24.1-megapixel CMOS sensor and 39 point autofocus system
    • In fact, hands down, I truly believe this DSLR even has the best quality image you can get for under $2k USD.Again, I'm not a fanboy of Nikon or Canon or Sony or Pentax or anything
    • This baby can capture a crisp and beautiful image
    • The D5200 captures clean images even in low light
    • Better video, better digital imaging, nice weight with a flip out screen
    • 4/5Overall, good image depending on the lighting environment
    • To get any meaningfully better image quality you'd have to go to a full frame, expensive and heavy prosumer or professional model camera, and the improvement isn't much, at that
    • The performance, the auto-focus, the result, low light performance, and a massive 24 mega pixels give me enough room to crop/edit and still retain great image quality
    • It lets you choose ANY two images on the memory card (they must be RAW format images) and you can control how bright each image will be in the final picture.
    • But I was wrong, 5200 cannot produce sharp image with any lens i own (Kit lens, 50mm and 55-300)
    • I am usually able to get better image results from the D3200 and D5200 compared with Sony's A65 and A77 in actual use
    • the camera adjusts shutter speed very quickly and took very well exposed images
    • It's quite durable and the images it produces are razor sharp.
    • The noise is so low, and the images are so sharp that you could easily blow up an un-cropped image to twice the captured size (26x40 inches) and it would still look fantastic
    • I love the images and I love the video quality
    • This, latest edition, is my carry along camera so that I never am without a good camera capable of making exceptional images
    • The colors just popped out at you and the images were tack sharp when using prime lenses
    • Pros• 24.1-megapixel CMOS sensor delivers great images with exceptional quality• Relatively inexpensive compared to its feature class• Good performance even in high-ISO• ISO from 100 to 6400,extendable up to 25,600• Easy User interface and menu• 39 point AF system with 9 cross-type sensors• Good fps speed• Fast buffer clearing• Vibration reduction is excellent• Retouching in camera ranging from cropping to various filter effects• Full HD 1080p video capture at up to 30p or 60i with autofocus and a built-in stereo microphone• 360 degree rotatable screen, good for selfies• Built-in pop-up flash• External mic jack• Wireless image sharing via the optional WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter• HDMI for playback on hdtvCons
    • The VR (Nikon's optical vibration reduction) of the 55-200mm will allow you to capture subjects/people at a good wanted distance with extremely well image quality and brilliant background defocus, opens many doors for quality and creativity
    • The noise is so low, and the images are so sharp that you could easily blow up an un-cropped image to twice the captured size (26x40 inches) and it would still look fantastic
    • (My dog was happy to fetch another ball for another test.)The camera can indeed take great images.
    • I spend almost a year, just to be sure what DSLR was the best one for me, I'm just a beginner, this camera brings all features I need, excelent image quality and fast!
    • Multiple auto settings makes it a easy and fast to use while the manual setting help put you in charge of the outcome
    • This camera works as it is written I am learning something new every time I use it
    • I own a D5100 and 50 mm 1.8 G, absolutely love every picture 5100 takes,the pictures are sharp in focus points
    • Measuring 5.3 x 4.2 x 3 inches (135.5 x 106.5 x 76 mm) and weighing 23.8 ounces (675 g) the D7100 features magnesium alloy top and rear covers in a durable body which is dust, weather and drop resistant
