The swivel is a great feature, but will only swivel and flip in one direction

The D3300 has none of these important features.

There were enough feature differences, and the standard kit lens change, between the D5200 and D5300 that I felt spending the extra money was worth it

The Nikon D5300 is awesome, and loaded with superior features that even pro photographer would love

I will begin with the end: the D5300 is a superb offering that will do as much as almost all non-professional users will ever need it to do, and has more useful features than most users will ever use

I loved this feature :

Fairly easy to use with lots of nice features for someone just getting serious about photography

Other features I really liked were the adjustable live view screen for taking pictures with the camera above the crowd and the ability to use my android phone as a remote shutter release

I also own the D7100 but have found it too heavy for all day excursions around my neck and it lacks the movable swivel feature of the rear LCD that this camera has

(on/off)Nikon has a great little feature so that when you have highlighted a menu item, you can hit the "?" button, and an on-screen

My most favorite feature is the built in HDR which I set up as the primary option on the Fn button (off-Auto).

Many have already negatively commented on the weak to nonexistent GPS feature.

If your looking for a DSLR, brand name and want superior quality and features consider this camera.

This model has enough features so it doesn't feel like a toy, but compared to higher-end Nikons like the D7x00 series or D500, this doesn't seem to be in the same league

I've been using this body as a replacement for my D3400 and it has been great, Its exactly what I wanted for my next camera and has a lot of nice features I hadn't been exposed to before.

Can't wait to learn what all of the fancy buttons and features can do in manual mode.

The lens also has VR - vibration reduction which is a very nice feature

These are all great features but if that weren't enough, the camera also includes WiFi!All in all, you can always spend more and more and get better and better but for the price, this is an incredibly good camera

Incidentally, the VR (vibration reduction) is a fantastic feature that allows you to shoot hand-held at lower shutter speeds (1/30th second at best) with no blur.

Using your smartphone as a remote control through the camera's WiFi is a brilliant feature

I chose it over the 7000 line because the articulated screen is simply an incredible feature

I will say that as fast as those cards are, you almost want faster.

I have a lot to learn about it's use and am the functions, as well as how to take a great picture

ISO then you might find the camera frustrating as you sometimes will have to navigate the software on the camera.
