• Reviews around quality (4.57 of 5)

Nikon D5300 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with Built-in Wi-Fi and GPS Body Only (Grey)

    • But the best of all, as I hoped, was the light weight and volume of the equipment that allowed me to enjoy excellent quality images, with little load on my neck
    • Great for someone teaching themselves photography, because it gives you the option to adjust all the individual settings like a pro, but also has fantastic quality pictures on the automatically selectable settings based on what kind of picture you're taking (portrait, outdoors, etc)
    • Great quality and attention to details in the craftsmanship
    • still trying to manage the focus, but the quality is excellent
    • The other day I took a bunch of pics of a dolphin pod playing in the inlet and later cropped them in really close and the quality is still amazing
    • Great picture quality
    • The sound quality of the video however is pretty poor, but then again this is not a dedicated video camera.
    • Works great, great quality!
    • The quality you receive into an app looks like what a dog might leave on a freshly cut and otherwise prestine lawn in spring
    • So far the pics are much better quality!
    • The most important upgrades, to me, are the superior image quality and autofocusing.
    • Quality is good.
    • This is my first dslr camera, i did not try any other brand, but i want to say that the quality of the pictures of this camera is quite excelent.
    • I've been a loyal Canon customer for decades, but their mid range cameras don't seem to have kept up with times regarding the quality and capabilities, and I'm not a millionaire
    • It can output wonderful detailed quality
    • Great quality camera.
    • But there is a significant cost differential with camera like the aforementioned Fuji over the Nikon for (at least spec-wise) comparable image quality
    • Easy to use (although I am still learning all the features) and takes amazing quality photos!
    • I am not a pro or semi pro, I just love to take nice quality pictures and all I had before was an iphone 5s
    • Excellent picture quality
    • Product of very good quality.
    • Amazing camera and amazing quality for video and photo
    • Fast,great quality.
    • Love this camera, great low light quality, compact and sturdy, just overall fun.
    • It feels solid in my hands, produces excellent quality images that are sharp even at 100% magnification and it has decent low light capabilities
    • Excellent video quality in 1090p 50 fpsSome photos I took
    • Amazing photo quality
    • If your looking for a DSLR, brand name and want superior quality and features consider this camera.
    • The quality of the photo is impeccable and the functionality of this camera makes it MORE than worth the value
    • The D5300 features excellent build quality and has every bit of that quality "Nikon feel" that we have all come to expect
    • Great picture quality for family photos and for ones looking to hone and advance their photography skills
    • Great quality photos of course!
    • it can capture full hd at 1080p at 60p progressive which was unavailable in D5200.Pros• 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor delivers great images with exceptional quality• Relatively inexpensive compared to its feature class• Good performance even in high-ISO• Easy User interface and menu• 39 point AF system with 9 cross-type sensors• Good fps(5 fps)• Fast buffer clearing• Vibration reduction is excellent• Retouching in camera ranging from cropping to filter effects• Full HD 1080p video capture at up to 30p or 60p with autofocus and a built-in stereo microphone• 360 degree rotatable screen• Built-in pop-up
    • Incredible quality
    • We all know good glass is important, but often times it seems that good quality bodies get down played even though they are also a very important part of the overall photographic equation.5
    • great quality for price!
    • Awesome camera with great high quality products.
    • Great Quality.
    • I've been playing with the camera "off Auto" and the performs very well with great quality.
    • Excellent quality pictures.
    • The bag that came with it is a bit small for my liking, but it's good quality
    • I like very much the quality of the pictures and videos
    • Very easy to handle- Excellent quality in 3200- WiFi
    • The D3200 has better image quality and seems to focus much better.
    • Then I flirted with a Sony NEX 5N. Good image quality but not enough and inaccessible lenses
    • Would highly recommend for someone that wants to capture memories and have good quality photos that are a huge step up from most point and shoot cameras.
    • The quality of the photos are amazing
    • Pair this with a 50 mm lens and the quality is superb.
    • Excellent image quality
    • I've originally bought a Sony in a similar price range because of the lure of a Zeiss lens, but had to return it because of the really bad image quality... not sure if I got a lemon or all of them were that bad, but I'm glad I did
    • This one stuck out the most as affordable and high quality
    • You’re going to get excellent quality photos
    • solid, lightweight and great image quality, i use it with 18 200 VRII nikor lens and SB910 flash with yongnuo RF transmiters
    • The quality blows away any camera I have used in the past and being able to capture something beautiful to enjoy and share is after all, the whole reason for all of it
    • From earlier research I liked the image quality of Nikons just a bit better, but still when you're spending a chunk of cash, and if you're like me and are far, far from the top 3%, you want to make sure you're getting a good product, and a reasonably user friendly one for your money
    • Really great quality (at least with this lens
    • so here we go-Pros-Awesome picture quality
    • Poor product quality and customer service
    • Absolutely love this Camera and the great quality it has!
    • but that's the price I'll pay for great quality pictures.
    • I chose the D5300 over the Canon T5i and mirrorless cameras because of the sharper picture quality and cheaper cropped sensor lenses, mainly the 35mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8.I do have to give credit to Nikon for making something in this price range with such excellent picture quality
    • The 35mm f/1.8 from Nikkor remains sort of a disappointment, but still shows improved image quality on the end of the D5300
    • Absolutely amazing pictures and the quality of up close and far away is very detailed and beautifully vivid
    • It is definitely for their target buyer - someone like me who is not a professional photographer but who demands top image quality without taking up a lot of physical space in the camera bag
    • However for those that want the very best image quality this camera has to offer, would want to use a lens better than either kit lens.
    • I'm always looking for the finest quality of the images I take with my camera, so I try to have the best gear my money can buy
    • Camera arrived earlier than expected and is great quality
    • Beautiful picture quality.
    • Good image quality
    • Gives great quality pictures and is very light to carry
    • I don't feel like this is a beginner camera because it is a good quality, but I believe a beginner could use it and learn all of its features with some reading and watching tutorial videos - or just playing around with it (but I think reading and watching tutorials will take you even further into knowing how it works and getting the best use from it).
    • Great video quality as well
    • Still, the brilliant quality of the camera's end results almost justified the heft and weight of the unit.
    • Awesome quality and colour accuracy
    • I have a lot to learn about it's use and am the functions, as well as how to take a great picture
    • I will say that as fast as those cards are, you almost want faster.
    • ISO then you might find the camera frustrating as you sometimes will have to navigate the software on the camera.
    • l am happy to say however, there is a simple solution which I came across randomly while searching the web and it works like a charm
