Amazing camera and amazing quality for video and photo

The quality of the photos are amazing

We all know good glass is important, but often times it seems that good quality bodies get down played even though they are also a very important part of the overall photographic equation.5

The D5300 features excellent build quality and has every bit of that quality "Nikon feel" that we have all come to expect

But the best of all, as I hoped, was the light weight and volume of the equipment that allowed me to enjoy excellent quality images, with little load on my neck

I'm always looking for the finest quality of the images I take with my camera, so I try to have the best gear my money can buy

But there is a significant cost differential with camera like the aforementioned Fuji over the Nikon for (at least spec-wise) comparable image quality

Easy to use (although I am still learning all the features) and takes amazing quality photos!

However for those that want the very best image quality this camera has to offer, would want to use a lens better than either kit lens.

The sound quality of the video however is pretty poor, but then again this is not a dedicated video camera.

The quality of the photo is impeccable and the functionality of this camera makes it MORE than worth the value

The D3200 has better image quality and seems to focus much better.

Still, the brilliant quality of the camera's end results almost justified the heft and weight of the unit.

I don't feel like this is a beginner camera because it is a good quality, but I believe a beginner could use it and learn all of its features with some reading and watching tutorial videos - or just playing around with it (but I think reading and watching tutorials will take you even further into knowing how it works and getting the best use from it).

I've been playing with the camera "off Auto" and the performs very well with great quality.

I chose the D5300 over the Canon T5i and mirrorless cameras because of the sharper picture quality and cheaper cropped sensor lenses, mainly the 35mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8.I do have to give credit to Nikon for making something in this price range with such excellent picture quality

The quality you receive into an app looks like what a dog might leave on a freshly cut and otherwise prestine lawn in spring

Great for someone teaching themselves photography, because it gives you the option to adjust all the individual settings like a pro, but also has fantastic quality pictures on the automatically selectable settings based on what kind of picture you're taking (portrait, outdoors, etc)

Great quality and attention to details in the craftsmanship

It is definitely for their target buyer - someone like me who is not a professional photographer but who demands top image quality without taking up a lot of physical space in the camera bag

The quality blows away any camera I have used in the past and being able to capture something beautiful to enjoy and share is after all, the whole reason for all of it

From earlier research I liked the image quality of Nikons just a bit better, but still when you're spending a chunk of cash, and if you're like me and are far, far from the top 3%, you want to make sure you're getting a good product, and a reasonably user friendly one for your money

If your looking for a DSLR, brand name and want superior quality and features consider this camera.

This one stuck out the most as affordable and high quality

This is my first dslr camera, i did not try any other brand, but i want to say that the quality of the pictures of this camera is quite excelent.

The 35mm f/1.8 from Nikkor remains sort of a disappointment, but still shows improved image quality on the end of the D5300

The other day I took a bunch of pics of a dolphin pod playing in the inlet and later cropped them in really close and the quality is still amazing

I've originally bought a Sony in a similar price range because of the lure of a Zeiss lens, but had to return it because of the really bad image quality... not sure if I got a lemon or all of them were that bad, but I'm glad I did

Excellent image quality

I will say that as fast as those cards are, you almost want faster.

I have a lot to learn about it's use and am the functions, as well as how to take a great picture

ISO then you might find the camera frustrating as you sometimes will have to navigate the software on the camera.

l am happy to say however, there is a simple solution which I came across randomly while searching the web and it works like a charm
