Nikon D5300 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Auto Focus-S DX NIKKOR Zoom Lens (Black)

    • It's as good as the wonderful Nikon D3300, but adds built-in wi-fi and gps along with an articulated screen for high or low shots
    • This d5300 body with the 18-140mm lens is amazing, solid feel, awesome picture, beautiful screen display, easy for beginners
    • Really nice camera, 24 MP sensor lots of excellent features, particularly like the articulating screen
    • But after having D80 (which has top screen and dual dial and better manual control than D5300) for 8 years, I have to admit that I'm not a professional photographer but an enthusiast that enjoys the possibility to take photos that's better than a point and shoot camera
    • I like the flip screen.
    • I find myself making the mistake of trying to pivot the screen the wrong direction each time.
    • I chose the D5300 over the D7100 simply because of the articulated rear screen
    • The articulated screen is truly an unique feature that allows for shooting from any angle or perspective you can dream up
    • Other features I really liked were the adjustable live view screen for taking pictures with the camera above the crowd and the ability to use my android phone as a remote shutter release
    • Everything was going great for about 4 months and then in the middle of taking pictures the screen stopped working
    • The location of the controls make it very accessible and the play-back screen is vivid and large enough to see detail.
    • I do like the articulating screen on this camera, which the d3300 doesn't have
    • Some PROS -The body is redesigned - smaller than the D5200 and feels better in the hand the Large vibrant 3.2″ articulated screen is lovelyExcellent sensor and processor- best image quality at this price point-
    • The screen is bright and a lot more modern and upgraded
    • The camera is very lightweight, has a gorgeous display, a fully articulating screen.
    • No top LCD screen to look at when shooting off a tripod
    • I am won over by it's amazing sensor, the lovely articulating screen, solid yet light construction, peer-to-peer wifi, fast autofocus, and many more adjustment features that were lacking in my Sony NEX-3N.
    • The screen is a little hard to see in bright sunlight, no surprise
    • What I like best about the D5300: APS-C sensor; Live View; Fully articulated screen; Just enough customization menu items to suit my needs w/o making me feel like an idiot ;); wi-fi (I'm hoping someone develops an app allowing for remote manipulation of camera controls
    • Both the Fuji and the Nikon have a recent 24 MP cropped sensor without an anti-aliasing filter and an articulated screen
    • The Screen is great!
