    Nikon D5500 DX-format Digital SLR Dual Lens Kit w/ - Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR & Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED Lens

    • The lens works great and makes taking different type shots easy in less time not having to change lenses
    • Very good quality of pics with the right lens selection.
    • f/1.8G lens is awesome for getting good low light shots with no fuss.
    • Canon has an amazing lens lineup (Nikon, where is our 40mm 2.8 pancake?) and ecosystem
    • I like shooting with Nikon cameras and I like this lens
    • Love the touch screen and the 18-140 mm lens
    • I'm not positive if this is a lens issue or camera issue, but the focus calibration with my wide angle Tamron lens also seems to be off, causing many of my images to be soft
    • Love the 18-140mm lens
    • f/1.8g fantastic plastic lens (also with metal mount) at the same time, just for fun
    • The smaller lens is great for closer objects but the bigger one is amazing for getting pictures of things really far away
    • But...This camera needs a very good lens
    • I must say, the combination of the D5500 and 35mm prime lens is wonderful
    • A great all around medium class DSLR and 18-140 lens; great picture quality and loaded with useful features DSLR that is easy to use and obtain excellent results.
    • with the 2 camera package I have to change lens more often, as neither lens are very flexible in framing my shots
    • I am happy I have the versatile 18-140mm lens with my D5500 for situations where I know I will need a longer reach, kids sporting events, wildlife, etc, but the 35mm prime is the hands-down winner for indoor/low-light, city traveling and street shots
    • This maybe my new favorite lens!!
    • I have an expensive Nikon lens or I would not have bought another Nikon
    • Eventually I'd like a better lens but the kit lens is capable of pretty sharp shots
    • I highly recommend buying the Nikon NC filters to protect your lens, as well as the respective Nikon hood for each lens to both protect it, and help you with taking outdoor shots
    • Love the camera and lens
    • I purchased a Nikon macro lens as well
    • The 18-55VR lens for portraits and close up's is off the hook sharp
    • Invest in a good lens!Anyway, a few more details
    • If you have a lens issue or body issue or IQ isn't sharp or anything else that seems wrong then get a replacement ASAP
    • My next camera will not be a Nikon even though I will have to replace an expensive lens.
    • It's not the sharpest lens out there but for $110 it's a great deal
    • It takes great photos and the 70-300 lens that came with this is a pretty decent telephoto lens but could use VR.
    • The kit includes very decent lens, especially for people just beginning
    • My only regret is not buying a zoom lens like 18 - 140, which is more flexible in most circumstances for framing
    • Remember when you're shooting, a great lens with a budget camera is going to look better than a great camera with a budget lens.
    • It's a good lens, and is the new 18-55 VR that collapses to save space
    • Also the AF-P lens can focus very closely for a kit lens - impressive!Zooming noise is a different story
    • The 18-140 lens, excellent in a small package was too heavy for this system (one hand operation) but the 50mm provided the companion to correct that problem.
    • My only regret is not buying a zoom lens like 18 - 140, which is more flexible in most circumstances for framing
    • I paid the extra for one lens 18-140mm a perfect camera and lens for what I want to use it for
    • I would highly recommend to buy a second fast lens such as the nikkor 35mm, you will be staggered with the results in (very) low light conditions and with the wonderful bokeh in portraits.
