Low light focus is, subjectively, better
-
As big as the camera is, it should have come with built in "Auto Focus Fine Tuning".
-
Low light and high ISO settings performance are much better and the focusing system is extremely good (more accurate focusing over the D7100)
-
Specifically I read that the D7200 had very sharp and fast auto focus and a little better dynamic range that other DX models, and I'm happy to report that I completely agree.
-
Sharper, faster focus, lower noise.
-
Great focus and low-light camera
-
Unfortunately my copy had Focus issues that I was unable to correct using the in camera "Focus Fine Tuning" method with a Focus Chart and had no choice, but to return it.
-
In continuous mode I would expect for about 75% well-focused pictures of moving objects3
-
buttons-Amazing focus
-
Plus this D7200 is superior to the D610 in more than a few ways (faster focusing in dimmer light, faster top shutter speed, faster flash sync), once you get past sensor size.
-
Sharp focusing, great color saturation, fast processing just to name a few
-
The D7200 offers accurate focus, white balance and flesh tone color balance, exceeding my expectations.
-
Sharper, faster focus, lower noise.
-
Using 3d tracking AF, II was able to fire away & capture most of the shots in sharp focus, as the cat rushed toward me
-
If this is your best stab today in DX Nikon, why not put an AF-ON button on the back (yes I prefer back button focus) - no, re-assigning the AE-L/AF-L button is NOT the same. for one, you end up inadvertently write-protecting every other shot between shots which becomes a major PITA when moving files around on a Mac, but also - there's room for two
-
Won't lock consistent focus.
-
Much faster focus and in dimmer light just as others have stated
-

B) a general lack of further miniaturization from previous D7xxx bodies C) giving the perception of a somewhat premium APS-C camera while still not fully competing with the IQ of the entry-level FF market such as the D610.
