My first outing was a sunrise and July 4th picnic pictures and then for some action a dog lure chase, great pictures of the dogs in motion.

Sure it doesn't have 10FPS nor does it have the awesome buffer that the D500 has, but it still takes great pictures

The pictures in this review are unedited, straight out the camera jpeg, with the exception of cropping of the wildlife pictures, which only illustrates the benefit of having a 24mp camera, you can crop and still have enough megapixels left over and still have a great picture.

Had it on a trip in Scotland, great pictures, return home and pictures I've taken since are black or totally blurred as if there was no light, and yet it's plenty light out

Takes amazing pictures fast shutter

I was surprised by just how good the high ISO is having taken pictures at a theater play where it was practically pitch dark except for the lights on stage and very few pictures came back grainy.

I am amazed at all things I can do with this camera - mostly I am amazed that I can get good quality low light pictures without using my flash!

And it won't stop taking great pictures now that the new D500 is out either

While it is not the D500, this camera does take excellent wildlife pictures

It takes beautiful pictures and has enough features that I can continue to grow as a photographer while using it

Tried doing some suggestions that others have made on a different Nikon model--changing lens, battery, settings, and no, the lens cap isn't on, but except for taking pictures with a flash, pictures are blurred or totally black

The camera takes excellent pictures.

B) a general lack of further miniaturization from previous D7xxx bodies C) giving the perception of a somewhat premium APS-C camera while still not fully competing with the IQ of the entry-level FF market such as the D610.

I am disappointed that Adobe is so slow in adding the D7200 to their camera RAW, but t the is not a Nikon problem, and their software covers it
