If you're willing to roll the dice with Nikon's quality control issues the D7200 is a very nice upgrade for a person like myself who already owns a decent amount of Nikon lenses and is willing to stay married to the DSLR format for a few more years.

Excellent upgrade from my D7000
-
The camera was a great upgrade my my ol' faithful D80 that I traded in once the D7200 became available.
-
-Best DX camera out there, IMOCons:-Not a huge upgrade from D7100, except for buffer-Not great low-light performance, though not bad (just nowhere near as great as say, the D610 or D750); only slightly better than D5100If you're considering upgrading to this OR
-
Amazing camera great upgrade from the 3400!!
-
Excellent upgrade from my Nikon D7000
-
For someone who was using their Note 3 as their main go-to 'camera' i'd say this was definitely a most welcoming upgrade
-
Just came from a D3300, great camera, but the d7200 is a great upgrade.
-
You probably have noticed that there always seems to be lag time in getting upgrades to photo software (e.g. Adobe) that accommodates the photo files produced by new cameras
-
Love this camera, big upgrade from my d3100.
-
It isn't a worthy upgrade for the 7100!".
-
Great upgrade

Adobe seems to have no time line on when they might issue an upgrade that will work with this camera.
-
This camera has a number of great features, and could be a nice upgrade from the Nikon D7100, but if you shoot in raw format stay away from this camera until Adobe can issue a DNG Converter for Photoshop, and Light room
-
Love this camera - upgraded from a D5200 - feels just as good in the hand, still getting used to all the features - but overall very happy with the purchase.
-
and I highly recommend upgrading to this camera
-
The U1 and U2 (user configurable settings) are really a nice feature upgrade vs. the D5100.
-
This camera is a great upgrade from our last DSLR
-
Nice upgrade to the D7100, with a larger buffer for RAW files
-
Great camera as an upgrade from the Nikon D90
-
I mainly do travel photography but am expecting my first child and thought it would be appropriate to get a new camera that can capture video just as well as it can take photos
-
Disappointed as I was excited to use my new camera but am now unable until I can find a replacement!
-
You don't notice so much with a nice fast prime lens, but the improved ISO capabilities of the camera with the much better autofocus system is capable of transforming a low-end telephoto zoom that was almost useless in all but the brightest of light on the D90, into a very useful and almost professional feeling lens on the D7200.

Had it on a trip in Scotland, great pictures, return home and pictures I've taken since are black or totally blurred as if there was no light, and yet it's plenty light out
