Added the Battery Grip (Nikon MD-12) which enhances the camera performance and makes the D800 resemble the D4 unit (Nikon Flagship Camera)
-
High ISO performance is also great
-
This is by virtue of it's superior shadow noise performance and retention of detail in the shadows
-
full-frame sensor also brings you a great high-iso performance.
-
If you're looking for excellent ISO performance, this camera is actually very hard to beat.
-
At this time, the only Nikon camera that has better noise performance is the D4, and it is very close
-
Great ISO performance, clean at 1600, usable at 3200, sharp at 800.Great and accurate color, even though I prefer the colors my D7000
-
None of this would be true if it weren't for the phenomenal performance of the D800 sensor
-
Initially, I was very impressed with the image quality, exceptional low light performance, and pro feature set
-
THE CAMERA PRODUCES CLEAN AND SHARP IMAGES WITH FAST AUTOFOCUS SYSTEM, EXCELLENT VIDEOS, SPEEDY PERFORMANCE
-
So I wish Nikon could do something for the travel photographers on the go.• Still jealous of Canon's performance: Even the EOS 7D seems to give an automatic high contrast, colors and sharpness to any s***ty picture
-
This is not usually a problem as the sensor delivers outstanding high ISO performance - much better than the D7000 which was itself pretty darn good in low light
-
QC seems to be better (it is made in Japan) image quality is phenomenal, and the dynamic range and low light performance is amazing
-
It has very high resolution (36MP), very good high-ISO performance, and a color fidelity not seen in previous Nikon digital cameras
-
Great Camera, excellent precision and performance
-
Excellent high ISO performance
-
High ISO performance a tad better than D700 as well
-
The only real obstacle to solving this otherwise easily avoidable problem (in any camera) is inadequate processor performance
-
Fast focus and performance
-
The picture quality is good and video performance are also quite well.
-
Coming from D90 (with some decent lenss), the ISO performance is amazing.
-
Performance of the Camera is Outstanding
-
If you value great high ISO performance with straight out of camera JPGs, then the 5d3 has the advantage
-
I am amazed, since until now, all of the high resolution cameras also had relatively poor high ISO performance
-
After using the D700 for several years, I really miss the autofocus M-C-S switch
-
Nikon truely shines with its built-in flash as it comes quite handy for fill-in flash
-
I did not at first and my images were not as sharp as I wanted them to be
-
If the camera worked as it should it would be wonderful, however in my limited experience it doesn't
-
I was bit surprised, that there was no signs of use, everything works as it should be
-
Until I can afford the 85/1.4, this glass will remain my "portrait" lens.70-200 VR: DX just as good as on the D200.
-
the shutter sound is a little different from what i am used to ... as in a little louder.... kind of nervous to use it at my first wedding lol but it is a super great camera!
