The cleaning cycle is almost impossible to complete (ie make the clean light shut off)

This is a nice feature but potentially annoying -- I just ran a clean cycle with descaler as the instructions say but the light is still on

And running it through the clean cycle is time-consuming.

So we went thru the clean cycle, light stayed on

Now, not only does the clean light stay on after about 36 hours of going through multiple cleaning cycles, but now the machine is flashing the clean light and the display no longer says the time but flashes Cln (for clean).

The clean light stays on even after doing a short AND a long clean cycle.

They suggest you fill the water dispenser with a cleaning solution or white vinegar and run a cleaning cycle, followed by two cycles with water only to flush the machine.

I have not had any problems with the cleaning cycles or it not finishing brewing like some of the negative reviews

I have particularly hard water and it usually takes me 10-15 clean cycles to get all of the mineral buildup to flush through

I now have the exact same problem with the replacement coffee maker and the light will not go off after numerous cleaning cycles

I chose to go with the thermal carafe, but It really didn't keep the coffee hot for longer periods of time,l but at least I don't have to worry about breaking a pot
