The most important thing to note is that the shiny outer shell that the original 3DS has is now a MATTE FINISH

just right sized screen and the Pikachu edition is pretty much the cutest thing ever!

You can download Netflix and watch shows or movies, use the Internet, purchase and download games from the eshop onto your 3DS, take pictures (though the camera isn't the best quality), and a load of other neat things

3DS XL is the coolest little thing I've ever had the privilege to own

Either way, I love this thing and if you can afford it, than you should definitely get it before the price rises again.

It did come with a US plug though, so I guess it really isn't a horrible thing.

I had a day one Aqua Blue 3DS, and I loved that thing, but within a week of having my Pikachu 3DS XL, I couldn't imagine playing on a standards 3DS again
